How to Apply for a Grant from our Foundation
We look forward to receiving applications that correspond to our foundation’s purpose and the funding criteria.

So that applicants do not have to wait long for an answer and in order to avoid unnecessary effort, the submission of applications is divided into two stages: In the first stage we will only assess whether your application is fundamentally qualified for our support, based on your short description. If your application passes this preliminary review favourably, you will be invited in a second stage to submit a detailed application.
1st stage: Brief description
In the first stage, we expect (only!) a short description of the project, not more than 1 – 2 pages, with the following information:
- Who is the applicant?
- Who is responsible for the project?
- What should be funded?
- Who should benefit and how?
- Short project description with goal and expected impact
- Project launch date and duration
- Amount of total budget
- Amount of the required contribution and possible staggering of payments (amount and timing of payments)
An answer is usually given within three weeks.
2nd stage: Detailed grant application
If the preliminary revies is favourable, we will invite you to submit a more detailed application in the second stage of the process. For this step, you will receive a list of questions, to which the answers are particularly important to us. We will take a decision about the detailed application as soon as possible, dependent on our schedule of meetings. The Board of Trustees meets several times a year.
