New appointments at the Jansen PrimeSteps Foundation

The Jansen PrimeSteps Foundation (JPF) is delighted to welcome two significant new appointments.

Stefan Scheiber, one of Switzerland’s most prominent business leaders, is joining the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bühler Group and Bucher Industries AG, he brings with him decades of international leadership experience, an exceptionally broad network and in-depth knowledge of global markets and sustainable corporate development. His experience and perspectives will significantly enrich the Foundation’s strategic development.

In addition, Simone Bichsel will take over as Managing Director of the Foundation with effect from 1 September 2026. A graduate in Business Administration (FH), she has many years’ experience in the non-profit and funding sectors. Since 2018, she has been supporting organisations in the areas of strategic fundraising, foundation fundraising and capital raising, as well as in the development of impact-driven projects. In addition to her consultancy work, she is a lecturer in fundraising and brings with her a broad network within the Swiss non-profit and foundation sector.

As Managing Director, she will take charge of operational management and, together with the Board of Trustees, drive forward the further development of the Jansen PrimeSteps Foundation – with the aim of sustainably strengthening the fight against absolute poverty through entrepreneurial development aid.

JPF founder and Co-President Gerhard Jansen and his Co-President and founder of the Swiss Economic Forum, Peter Stähli, are very much looking forward to working with Stefan Scheiber and Simone Bichsel, and in particular to jointly expanding the foundation’s activities and impact.
